Warranty

At Andar, we stand by our products and cover a *full one (1) year warranty from the day they were purchased, when used under normal conditions (see below for our Aspen Lifetime Limited Warranty). Each product is handcrafted and we understand that defects can be found or happen. Our limited warranty covers faults in workmanship and materials upon arrival or within a year. This doesn't apply if the damage is caused by unreasonable use or neglect, normal wear and tear**, or if you change your mind.

What is considered unreasonable use or neglect? Cosmetic damages caused by dropping, gouges, abrasions, peeling or cracking leather from not being conditioned regularly, distortion due to exposure to extreme temperatures, water spots and water damage, marks caused by acids or solvents, ink, pencil marks, paint or other stains caused by use, zipper damage from over stuffing or over use, alterations, and mishandling or accidents 

What is considered normal wear and tear? Scratches, wrinkling, worn edges, color changes aka: patina, hardware tarnishing, and stretching. Broken zippers, buttons, and snaps not due to threading faults are also considered normal wear and tear - please be sure not to overstuff the zippered compartments of your bags.

Proof of purchase the order number is required in all warranty replacements. We reserve the right to deny warranty replacement requests if they do not meet our warranty replacement criteria. All warranty replacement requests will be determined individually and do require photo or video evidence of the issue at hand. In some cases, you may be asked to return the item so our Quality Control team can evaluate the issue to ensure product integrity and improve future product offerings. 

In the event of a valid warranty claim, store credit will be issued equal to the original purchase price (excluding shipping and taxes). Store credit may be used toward any future purchase on our website or in our showroom.

*Warranty does not cover non leather items such as The Active Collection, clothing, hats, stickers, laundry bags, or packing cubes. It also does not include final sale items, warehouse sale items, mystery bag and mystery box items, or any item that specifies at purchase that it is final sale or not covered under warranty.  

Additionally, the warranty does not cover damage to your device as a result of the use of any Andar product. Andar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of any Andar product. The Andar Limited Warranty does not, in any situation, cover the repair or replacement of property, including but not limited to, electronic devices and/or other personal property.

**The only exception to our warranty policy guidelines regarding wear and tear applies to the Aspen iPhone cases. Orders protected under the Aspen Limited Lifetime Warranty (Aspen Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to new orders of The Aspen placed on or after September 19, 2025. Orders placed prior to this date may not be eligible under this policy), may be submitted for one warranty request per purchase, including for cosmetic issues, subject to Andar’s approval. If approved, the original purchaser will receive a store credit gift card in the amount of the original purchase (excluding taxes and shipping costs), which can be applied toward a replacement case of any size or color—without SKU restrictions. This policy is non-transferable and applies exclusively to purchases made directly from Andar. It does not extend to third-party retailers such as Amazon, TikTok, or other resellers. Cosmetic imperfections on all other products are not covered under warranty, as full grain leather is intentionally designed to develop a unique patina over time—these natural variations are what make each piece one of a kind. Andar Aspen Limited Lifetime Warranty

Andar stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its products. The following warranty applies to purchases made directly through Andar or its authorized retailers:

Eligibility & Coverage:

• This warranty applies only to the original end-user purchaser and is non-transferable.

• Proof of purchase from an authorized Andar retailer is required for all warranty claims.

• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including third-party online marketplaces or auction sites, are not eligible.

• Auction site confirmations (e.g., screenshots or bid receipts) are not accepted as proof of purchase.

• This warranty applies to new orders of The Aspen placed on or after September 19, 2025. Orders placed prior to this date may not be eligible under this policy.

 Scope of Warranty:

• The warranty covers functional defects in original, unaltered materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.

• Warranty coverage lasts for the lifetime of the product as owned by the original purchaser.

• For Aspen cases only ordered on or after September 19th, 2025; one warranty request, including a warranty request for cosmetic issues, may be granted per purchase, subject to Andar’s approval.

•  If approved, the original purchaser will receive a store credit gift card in the amount of the original purchase (excluding taxes and shipping costs), which can be applied toward a replacement case of any size or color—without SKU restrictions.

Exclusions:

• Cosmetic wear and tear (i.e.: Scratches, wrinkling, worn edges, uneven or odd patina, hardware tarnishing, and stretching), except where explicitly stated (Aspen cases only).

• Damage caused by: Accidents, misuse, or abuse. Exposure to heat, liquids, sand, or other contaminants. Natural events (e.g., flood, fire, earthquake).

•  Unauthorized modifications or repairs.

•  Loss or theft of the product.

• Full-grain leather aging and marks, aka: patina—these are considered natural and part of the product's character. 

• Products marked FINAL SALE—these are sold as-is and are not eligible for return, exchange, or warranty coverage.
  
  

 Claim Process

• Customers must submit clear photos and a description of the issue when filing a claim.

• Andar may require return of the defective product for further inspection at its discretion.

• Failure to comply with a return request may result in forfeiture of warranty coverage.

Limitations of Liability: Andar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Damage to personal devices or property used in conjunction with our products. Or loss of data stored in such devices. Andar’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Legal Rights & Jurisdictional Variances: This warranty grants you specific legal rights, but you may have additional rights depending on your state or country. These additional rights may affect the enforceability of certain limitations stated herein.

Policy Updates: Andar reserves the right to modify, update, or revoke this warranty policy at any time and without prior notice. Changes will not affect claims for products purchased under a previously published version of this policy.

Fair Use Policy: Customers are permitted to five (5) warranty replacements per account per calendar year (365 days). Andar reserves the right to monitor warranty requests to ensure fair use of our policy. Customers who are found to be misusing or taking advantage of the warranty process may be subject to limitations, including denial of future claims. Our goal is to keep the warranty valuable and fair for all customers.
